Theatre of choreographic miniatures "Artaniya" was created in 1997 in the historic motherland of Zaporizhya Cossacks - in central Ukraine in Cherkasy. The creative team of the theater consists of 6 young energetic and talented artists who for the years of theater existance were collecting bit by bit the cultural Cossack heritage and their traditions, to show the full range of Cossack culture from music and songs to dances and rituals not only for the audience in Ukraine, but also abroad.
The program of theater "Cossack funs" is a unique theatrical-choreographic show, created by means of traditional and modern choreography, intertwined with Cossack songs, jokes and acrobatics.
During the show program, viewer will be able to immerse himself into everyday life, traditions of Ukrainian Cossack rest, listen to famous Ukrainian Cossack songs, see bright and temperamental Cossack dance and have fun with Cossack women. Whereas the Theatre of choreographic miniatures "Artaniya" is exclusively male, the female characters will perform puppets.
Content staging performed by skilled dancers of Theatre of choreographic miniatures "Artania", headed by Anatoly Ruban, funny and cheerful "Dariman's Dolls" of Nodar Rosopidze together with the soloist singer Eugene Valovenko, will help to feel the spirit of Cossack traditions and festivities.
