The bandura trio Malvy (Valentyna Zaichenko, Lyudmyla Kvartalyova and Hanna Timchenko) began its creative development in 1992 in the city of Cherkasy, right in the heart of Ukraine.

The foundation of their repertoire is Ukrainian folk songs, works of Ukrainian composers as well as foreign classics. Having an interesting stock of plays, this trio is noted for its unerring taste, scenic appeal, wide range of performance skills and sharp feeling of music. A song and bandura play performed by the trio Malvy sound mellowly and purely as a forest well.

The bandura trio Malvy carries Ukrainian song into the world and it becomes an acquisition of not only Ukrainian but also a world listener. Within recent years the trio has visited Finland for five times. These trips became the brightest pages of the trio's biography. Their singing tuned in churches, cathedrals, concert halls and schools of the country.
