Ritual songs - these are songs that were performed during various folk festivals, many of which are closely related to heathen beliefs. In the past, songs accompanied whole everyday life in Ukraine throughout the whole calendar year, starting with the Christmas and ending with autumn harvest festival.
Accordingly, the concert program also has several conventional cycles revealing the Ukrainian traditions and rituals. The winter themes include Christmas songs and songs with New Year greetings, wishes for health and happiness for the whole year.
